April is National Humor Month!

What Is the Ideal Workplace Culture?
Workplace culture is a mixture of the company and its employees’ characteristics and personalities that create an overall tone of the organization. This mixture includes leadership, company and individual values, behavior, interaction, and benefits. We have seen a visible increase in employees prioritizing their ideal workplace culture when choosing a company to work for. For companies to remain competitive, retain valuable employees and recruit top talent in their industry, their leaders must find ways to incorporate these workplace preferences.
1. Increase in remote and hybrid work arrangements.
2. Demand for more employee recognition and transparency.
3. Open communication in the workplace.
4. Employee growth and development opportunities.
5. Growth of a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Tax Filing Deadline Changed for 2022

April 15 is traditionally tax deadline day for the Internal Revenue Service. However, that is not the case this year. April 16 is Emancipation Day in Washington, D.C., and because the holiday falls on a Saturday this year, it is officially observed on the Friday prior, April 15th. That means the tax day deadline is getting pushed back to Monday, April 18 for everyone except residents of Maine and Massachusetts. Residents in those states must file by April 19.

Verily acquired a company that was Pam’s client, and my experience with her through the acquisition and subsequent periods of financial operations transition was excellent.
Pam always followed through on deliverables, was speedy with response times, and helped educate my team on existing processes of our acquired company. She was extremely helpful in assisting with the financial integration.
Thanks for all that you do, Pam! I would happily work with you again.
