November 2021

We have so much to be thankful for, but most of all we are thankful for our clients, colleagues and business partners! We can't do what we do without you!

Venmo and Cash App to start issuing
1099-k's for 2022 at a new threshold of $600

If you have collected payments over $600, those payments will need to be reported to the IRS beginning on January 1st, 2022.  If you are a business using third party payment apps including: Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or Paypal, you will be required to send users a Form 1099-K for transactions made by mail or electronically.

Make sure you are keeping good records as Form 1099-K includes both taxable and non-taxable income.  This will only effect your 2022 tax return filed in 2023! For more information click here.

We’d also really appreciate an online review if you’re willing! You can submit a Google review by clicking the button below.
