Happy National Women's Small Business Month

From our own woman-owned small business to yours, we want to share the love! In the past 30 years the number of woman-owned businesses in the United States has grown to nearly 13 million.

Women of color making up the majority of that 13 million, now sit atop as the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs. We are so proud. Keep up the good work ladies!

Health Insurance

Open Enrollment Season is here! Is an ICHRA right for your business?

ICHRA’s allow businesses of all sizes to reimburse employees for their health care expenses. What does this mean for your employees? That they can choose a health insurance plan that works best for them and you are then able to reimburse them tax-free for premiums and health care costs.

As a business you are able to divide your team into different “employee classes” each with its own reimbursement amount, essentially tailoring the reimbursement amount.

If you have questions on what employees can get reimbursed under an ICHRA, what the requirements are as an employer, how it compares to other health care benefits packages, and affordability, click here.

Employee Benefits

A Guide to Employee Benefits Packages for Startups

As a startup or small business one of the challenges faced is how you compete with established firms to attract the top talent in your field, but with shallower pockets. One of the ways to do that is to develop a competitive total compensation package that includes comprehensive health benefits.

Click here to read the answers to questions every startup or small business has when faced with this challenge:
1. What benefits do I have to offer?
2. Which benefits are voluntary?
3. What benefits do employees want?
4. What benefits can you afford?
5. What happens when your business starts to grow?
